I went and spoke at The Body Firm in Ahwatukee, AZ this past weekend. I presented multiple topics ranging from stress management, emotional eating, and pre-/post- workout meals. I created a brochure, a worksheet to better prioritize to reduce stress, printed mood journaling prompts from Restwell; all for the attendees to take home.

I’m back with another community event! This time I spoke with Tempe Tri Club about Work | Life Balance. We went back to basics as we broke down what we value. This including family, work, socializing, rest, etc. Then we thought about the next two months, the time over the holidays and deciding on what to prioritize. With this in mind, we could now kindly communicate those priorities to others even if that included practicing saying no. This process can help lower burnout and overwhelm this season.

My hope was to make it easy to use this format when prioritizing life in the future.

I had the opportunity to speak with a triathlon club in the valley this week. We discussed the 4th discipline for tri-athletes… Nutrition! We had a group discussion about what to eat before, during, and after workouts, how to fuel oneself properly, and broke down each macronutrient. It was a blast! The group shared ideas and helped each other with suggestions! Thanks Landis Tri Club - I had a great time!
